Lisa Lucio, BA., is a communications professional with more than 35 years of experience. Lisa has provided writing, marketing, and public relations services to corporations, city, and county agencies, as well as universities and various nonprofits throughout the Southern California area. Lisa has raised over $20 million in grants. She has obtained funding for grant programs related to K-12 education, clean energy, life skills, computer training, and nonprofit management. Lisa received her BA in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach, and has completed additional training in grant writing and grant management at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), In Pomona.
Frank Bonacci, MA, JD, is an experienced director of corporate and foundation relations programs, and a consultant in the fields of education and mental health. He raised over $3.8 million in seven years, working mostly with small-and-medium sized grants for projects, including Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) integrative care, infrastructure development, scientific equipment, scholarships, environmental landscaping, theater and arts, transportation, naming opportunities, parenting education, Mental Health First Aid, and numerous others. He has 15 years of experience teaching writing and business law at the college level, and enjoys sharing his knowledge of grant writing with others.
Jonita Fair-Payton has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, training, program planning, fund development, and strategic planning. Ms. Fair-Payton has worked in an executive capacity in some of the most renowned nonprofit organizations in the country. She currently runs her own consulting firm, The Payton Group, assisting clients nationwide with fund development and grant writing. Specializing in federal grants, Ms. Fair-Payton has secured over $45 million in grant dollars for clients. She holds a BA from The University of California, Berkeley, an MS in Community Development from Prairie View University, and an MBA from the University of Houston. Ms. Fair-Payton resides in Sugarland, Texas with her husband of 13 years and their three beautiful children. They are joyful servant members of the Fort Bend Church in Sugarland.
Rodney Walker, MBA., is a leading expert in philanthropy and grant writing for nonprofit organizations. He is president and CEO of Grant Central USA, an industry leader and nationally recognized grant writing training company that empowers thousands of people and organizations to improve the results of their grant writing efforts. Mr. Walker has a Master of Business Administration and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University . He is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and completed the Leadership Certificate Program at the University of Southern California.
Rebecca Tuttle, MEd., has raised over $2.5 million dollars in grants. She brings a wealth of knowledge in grant writing for both private and public sector grants. Rebecca has been writing grants as long as she has been gluten-free, but it is Rebecca’s enthusiasm and positive outlook for success that lead her to a guest appearance on the Dr. Oz show. In Rebecca’s fifteen years in nonprofit development, she established herself as a female small business leader. Ms. Tuttle holds a Master of Education with a concentration in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Roger Williams University. She is a graduate of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University and hopes to run for the state legislature in the future.
